Chase and I met accidentally online in 1998. Our distance spanned 2,800 miles with Chase living in Seattle while I resided in a tiny town east of Charlotte called Norwood. Our first date was May of 1998 in Seattle where we realized that this was more than just two people chatting online. We got married the same year and decided to put our roots in North Carolina.

Five kids and twenty years later, we renewed our vows in March of 2018 at the Outer Banks. I planned our own vow renewal and had a handful of previous wedding coordinating for family. It was then that I realized my enjoyment diving into this realm of event planning.
​
Then in early 2021, God gave us a redirection in life just as we were about to put an offer on another property. Willow Creek Farm Center became available to us unintentionally. We prayed about it and knew if this was His intent, then we would accept this path. In July of 2021, we said, "Yes!", and we became the new owners of Willow Creek Farm Center!

It has been a whirlwind of an adventure to witness weddings on our farm, but most importantly, it's been a blessing to work with all the couples and create one of the most important days of their lives.
